Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture “La Sapienza” in Rome, Matteo Serafini has undertaken several training and work paths in important national and international studies. At the beginning with the arch. Piero Lissoni in Milan, then he deepened his studies at the “Architecture Faculty” in Utrecht, Holland; here he continued to work at the “Atelier van Lieshout“ in Rotterdam and after he moved to the “Nio Architecten“ group, still in Rotterdam. After some years he flew to Helsinki, Finland, working into “Casagrande Laboratory“. During these years he has been also a “Visiting Doctoral Researcher” at “Alvar Aalto University” of Helsinki. He decided to return to Rome where he worked with the studio of the arch. Massimiliano Fuksas.

Over the years his passion for architectural photography has become professional through conferences and in-depth courses on light. He worked initially with the arch. photographer Luigi Filetici and later with private clients and related magazines. 

Parallel to the architectural and photographic activities he is professor of photography and architectural design at private university.

At the moment as an architect is part of the studio Nemesi.
